truly, we would not be doing this stuff if we weren't sickos for gamedev :P

I can't stress how excited I will be to move on to a new project where I can play the role of naive lil guy making stuff that the me-in-two-years will be mad about having to deal with later.

gamedev sounds like it's gonna be making cool mechanics and fun stuff nobody tells you that it's also going to be -swapping in a new font for 2 hours -figuring out if you can delete an object in your hierarchy (you can't) -testing the same thing 50 times to fix a bug

yeah, variable name length might be a factor too lol I have a bad habit of making big variable names q_q

I think it's probably worth being mindful of how much of a toll it can take on your body physically to manually type out every letter in your code. As someone who tends not to rely on autocomplete as much as I should - I have had days where I've had to stop coding because of strain on my hands.

playtest today went super well which is pretty nifty because there had been probably 3-4 weeks where I was feeling really stuck in the mud on this revamp.
