I typically just share my own art but I've been working with a very talented artist who has elected to work with me as part of her university experience. She's been the driving force behind a lot of the recent art push. I think she's crushing it.
Another day another portrait. This one is still a WIP but he's definitely getting there.
Hard question to answer, this specific piece? Like an hour. But this is the 6th time I've painted her so I feel like I'm getting better/faster at it
Decided to do a quick sketch for #truerefdt018 . It was a lot of fun to work with a different palette and at a different scale than I have been painting lately.
Just because your program is erratic and unpredictable doesn't make you less accountable
@trueref.bsky.social guess who?
I don't pretend to get this reference, but I am convinced it's quite funny.
Some genuine chuckles, well done!
Nice! Yeah I could still move the cursor but couldn't select anything. Very odd. Workaround is to quit and restart which is easy enough. I used to play a 4x mobile game (Hexonia?) but it was discontinued so this is really scratching an itch for me. Greeks for life
Awesome feedback! When you say scroll the map do you mean move the cursor? Ie mirror the other thumbstick? Or just move the camera? Not filling the screen is intentional. My game has opinions about pixel ratios sadly
Thanks so much! Hope you'll give it a go
Hey #TurnBasedThursday! I'm turn based and Thursday too!
Hibera, Requiem for the Forgotten is a SRPG like Fire Emblem. I'm currently in the process of doing a big update to some of the in-game portraits, here's a teaser!

I really really really want to play warmaster
I definitely read the trendline label as "levels of creative procrastination" and agreed with it.
This is probably like how my wife gets mad about every therapist in every TV show. "That's not how any of that works! That's so unethical!"
It is very weird to talk to game developers who treat AI as radioactive. But then to go to work and be surrounded by software developers who can't understand why anyone would write code by hand in 2026.
Well and we're not going to solve the environmental issues, the copyright infringement issues, the mental health issues by just ignoring it.
+1 I work in tech, the bubble may burst and the hyperscalers may go bankrupt, but the tech isn't going to just vanish. At the same time I don't want to torpedo my game (which isn't using AI) by being seen sharing unrelated thoughts on here. But we do need to talk about it.
