All the work Valve is doing on FEX is going to make these even better over time as well. Just like Valve has done with proton a lot of stuff that doesn't work now will slowly start to "just work" in the good way. The future is bright in some ways y'all.

As someone that started as a Fortnite streamer and had it as their comfort game for quite a while it is *SURPRISINGLY EASY* to ditch this game. Please stop playing slop game. Please.

And it has been this way since UE4 for sure. I haven't played enough UE3 games on PC to know for sure but the switch from UE4 to UE5 has been a nightmare in most games I've seen. If you're an indie dev please don't use UE. Please. I beg you. HDRP Unity has most of the graphic stuff you need.

As someone that plays a lot of indie games/demos I would much rather be playing games made in just about any other engine. UE can be reasonable (shocking I know) but the default state is a mess and it seems to need a more knowledgeable dev to get it to a reasonable state than the other engines.

Recently moved my AYN Thor to ArmadaOS and have been *SUPER* happy with it. It runs basically everything I want indie and emulation wise. Yes, I have the 16GB model so it is an expensive version but the future is here already. Just need hardware prices to drop for this to truly explode.

I mean, just look at Doom: The Dark Ages. Most AAA made by committee ass thing I've seen in a long time and it still sold *TONS* of copies with plenty of people calling it a "Great Game." And it would have done even better without all the forced raytracing graphics bullshit.

Self made problem. Enough consumers will eat up whatever slop you give them as a whole. They just need a personality to tell them to do it. They could release CoD with Xbox 360 graphics today and people would still buy it in droves if the gameplay isn't completely atrocious. </jaded asshole>
