🚨BREAKING: The government's own statistics show there was a *record level of terrorism arrests* in the year leading up to June this year. The vast majority of the enormous increase in terrorism arrests are of grandparents, teenagers and everyone in between for peacefully holding placards.

NEW: Home Office stats released today reveal that arrests for “terrorist-related activity” in the year ending June 2026 were up 1,553% on last year and 94% of the arrests (3,630 of 3,867) were linked to showing support for Palestine Action.

We're being told to stock up on food this winter, but currently 1 in 5 people across the UK can't afford enough to eat as it is.

Help us hit 10,000 signatures before we take our petition to No.10 next week and demand the right to food in UK law 👇🏾

Protest gives us power to make our leaders listen to us and challenge their decisions that shape our everyday lives.

So what happens when our right to protest is restricted? And whose voices are heard when speaking out gets harder?

Today, when the organised far-right are once again on the rise throughout Europe and racial violence in the UK is escalating, we remember this: together, we can beat fascism.

@amnestyuk.bsky.socialOct 4, 2026, 6:37 PM

People came together across the country throughout the 1930s to stop fascism. And despite support from some in the media with headlines like “Hurrah for the Blackshirts!” - people organised and beat the BUF on the streets and at the ballot box. They never won a seat in Parliament.

But the people of London met the call “all out against fascism” - and the largest anti-fascist mobilisation in British history took place in what became known as the Battle of Cable Street. Mosley’s fascists were stopped from marching through our streets.

“They shall not pass.” 90 years ago today, as antisemitism and fascism were on the rise throughout Europe, Oswald Mosley’s racist British Union of Fascists planned a provocative march through the Jewish community of East London.

Patients, health workers and communities are clear: we want Palantir out of our NHS.

Last night, hundreds of us rallied outside Palantir's London HQ to say so. Thank you to everyone who showed up, from local actions to the rally đź’›

We're proud to have been part of the Right to Food UK Commission, and its findings are clear. It's time for a Right to Food Bill đź’›

Protesters were being ARRESTED for HOLDING UP SIGNS outside the Labour Party Conference yesterday! But this is nothing new. In the UK, OVER 3,500 people have been arrested, with MORE THAN 2,250 formally charged under TERROR LAWS for PEACEFULLY PROTESTING the ban on Palestine Action.

There is a chance for the new Prime Minister to stop this absurdity. Protest has always been part of British culture. It makes our communities more RESILIENT, our government more RESPONSIVE and our society more INCLUSIVE – share this video if you agree!

OUTRAGEOUS scenes outside the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool yesterday! But it’s nothing new... In the UK, OVER 3,500 people have been arrested, with MORE THAN 2,250 formally charged under TERROR LAWS for PEACEFULLY PROTESTING the ban on Palestine Action.

But ending defendants’ right to choose a jury trial risks undermining the right to a fair trial - especially for people from minoritised groups and protesters.

The UK government must end its attack on jury trials once and for all. Amnesty UK welcomed the government’s signals that it will walk back some of the Courts and Tribunals Bill.

THIS SHOWS HOW IMPORTANT PROTESTING IS. Protesting gives us power to make our leaders listen to what matters to us. Share this video to show what people power can do!

@amnestyuk.bsky.socialSep 21, 2026, 1:53 PM

PROTESTING WORKS! Even the Foreign Secretary, Ed Miliband, agrees. Thanks to millions of people around the world demanding justice for Palestinians, the UK has taken the first steps to help end Israel’s illegal occupation by banning settlement goods and some services.
