Mulder: "It's plant."
Hugo II, Whodunit? (1991, PC)
Horticular (2024, PC) These might be the tiniest houseplants I've ever posted but I assure you they are there! Really love this game, it's kind of like a city builder but in a giant garden, good stuff.

Ragnarok Online (2002, PC) Played this quite a bit back when it was new. Aesthetically this is like, the platonic ideal of an online computer game for me. One of the best looking games of all time imho!
totally understandable haha. I played Xanadu Next for the first time recently and despite it not using sprites, I couldn't stop thinking about RO while playing it

The Beast Within: A Gabriel Knight Mystery (1995, PC) Nice plant.

Madō Monogatari / Sorcery Saga (1998, Saturn) This game is neat. Starts out inside of a different story with a more typical top-down viewpoint and then shifts to an isometric one. Also this child's face is melting what the heck!
yeah i totally understand why people like it! it does seem cool and i think i would have loved it when i was younger. the little bit of the standard stages i played was fun, it really was just the tutorial that was grating on me lol

Ghost Master (2003, PC) This game seems kinda fun. However, I think it might have THE most annoying tutorial I've ever played. The voiceover for it is SO bizarre and the game seems terrified of going more than 10 seconds without talking at you. It legit gave me a headache lmao.

Puzzle Master (1999, PC) Witness my puzzle prowess as I put together a 25 piece jigsaw puzzle with mind-blowing speed and jaw-dropping precision!
unsurprisingly I love that game too haha. I actually showed it to some friends recently who had never seen it before and they were blown away. it's still super fun!
helllll yeahhhhh! this was one of my absolute favorite games as a kid. i was deeply obsessed with Godzilla but Super Godzilla was way too slow and boring for my child brain, so finding this game was life changing haha.
