When I was a reporter, I did a few stories over the years about military hand-to-hand combat training. There have been minor refinements over decades. The trainers I interviewed all said the same thing, "Killing people hasn't really changed over centuries." This UFC contract is wasteful.

This is stupid for more reasons than I can get into, but the UFC is a fight promotion and does not employ fighters or trainers. This isn’t like contracting the Dodgers to teach you how to play baseball, it’s like contracting the Dodgers’ front office to do so.
