TMS34020!? What motherboard was this?

I feel like it's really useful for this exact purpose: you can port it to anything with a serial port in like, ten minutes, and then start building up a sort of "operating system in the wild." Swiss Family Robinson bringup

Thanks! Yeah, the PSG has many fewer ways to interact with it. The VDP is very flexible, which means it's hard to describe an "API" that works well

New blog post! I got to write some actual Forth, in an effort to make my Sega SG-1000 make sounds. Let's all learn about the stack!

I've been using Quick Camera, which is "fine," but I bet this is a ton better.

For awhile every credit card machine would address me in French. When the card got skimmed and replaced it was English again.

For reasons that make sense if you've ever worked in a school, there's an internal jumper to disable it. I don't have an mk2SR to tell you where it is. I bet my 6601SR can do it though.

Modern games are all about annoying parry mechanics, but I can probably get over it.

It's the one thing I want to get a PS5 for. Wonder if the PC version might run on my 1080...

New blog post! If you want to tell an interactive Forth on an old Sega game console what to do, it helps if you can type. Let's write some very boring code!

I think the 2516 is single voltage in operation but it requires an insanely high programming voltage? Maybe that matters too!
