Night of the Living Dead Man Walking
Greg has signed copies of my Pink Beam novella. I know it might seem very Blade Runner-ish, but if anything it is a reversal on some of the conclusions that film came to. It is a philosophical work of SF I am proud of. So if you don't live near by this is the easiest way to get a signed copy.
It is in the post

Movie we watched while I was taking a picture of the Andromeda Galaxy. Brutal surreal masterpiece, but a slow burn. I liked it the year it came out but I think I liked it more this time.
Andromeda night 2! This might be my best photos yet when you remove the stars that you can really see all three galaxies.
Andromeda Galaxy taken from my back porch in San Diego. The other galaxy photo bombing above it is M110 (60 billion stars

First Book Review of October. Brian Evenson's sequel to gruesome noir classic Last Days is a masterpiece of weird. "The thing I can’t figure out is why every time it’s either them or you it always ends up being them.” Amazing stuff.
My full review + spoiler-filled, under-the-hood discussion of this stunning SF horror novella out now from Pink Beam Press. Disturbing, beautifully dark prose. Must read.
The author of this book has done nothing but talk negatively the Dickheads podcast and while several of us in the PKD community, and yet here is a very positive review of this collection of his important writings on PKD.
Happy pub day to this masterpiece by Sarah Langan! Here is my review...

The first interview - one-on-one with the authors of the Pink Beam novellas released at PKD fest. Brian and I talk about PKD fest, the strength of novellas, and then we get under the hood of his amazing novella Glitch.
This was pretty bad, I kinda drifting in my thoughts re-writing it in my head, thinking about how I would tackle this franchise. A few cool moments.
Do I lose film nerd cred if I think this movie is good but over rated? Good thriller but not the must watch masterpiece I was sold over and over.
I get annoyed we they seem to forget what time of day it is, but they actually used that weakness in season 4 finale. One more season I hope we get the mystery solved of where they are
Finished Season 4 of the horror TV series From. I like when the show leans into what we Phil Dickians call the Finite Subjective Reality, and they leaned into that through one character in the last couple of episodes...
Wanted love this super weird and disturbing new SF movie. Lots of really cool elements with terrible pacing in the second half.
Underrated 90s movie, great script by David Koepp, and excellently directed by Depalma.
