On this National Coming Out Day (October 11th), one of the things straight people need to be aware of is that the first person that any LGBTQIA+ person comes out to is themselves. We're all raised in a cis-hetero world, where that is the default assumption. To realize you're not THAT can be hard.

I have tinnitus so I understand lip reading and looking for other cues, but put any kind of chart or graph in front of me and all of a sudden my brain goes:

I should specify; inherent for me, not necessarily anyone else, per se. But for instance, the need to hyper focus on all tasks because my brain gets easily distracted by outside stimuli, etc.

I have visual-spatial processing issues, but think the inherent related ADHD can make podcasts tricky as well. Hugs.

I understand that everyone has their own method and means of counteracting, and yes, video footage is hard to dispute and/or label politically, but it can also be very triggering, especially in Jewish spaces where a lot of us have our own connections with Israel.
