i've never worked on a studio production and i'm not entirely familiar with the 3D workflow, but part of me was wondering if they planned for more 2D animation in the film and maybe we're looking at some cleaned up placeholders. in any case, i'd rather have the film in this form than not at all.

now to be mean: the 3D animated characters other than coyote look really off and almost unfinished to me, especially during a crowd shot at the end. however there is some traditional animation in the movie and it looks fantastic (again, foghorn, god.) in any case, good movie, i recommend.
