Great social media analogy, It's like someone handing you a piece of paper with H2O written on it & saying, "Look it's H2O you should feel hydrated" Social media, literally letters that are supposed to make us feel connected, that doesn't work on social animals. It's societal gaslighting.

I was once in a relationship with someone I lived with who became neglectful beyond even basic humanity, basic courtesy.. just no interest in me at all. Wow this is totally what the person I've written so many sad/mad songs about was. They were so disinterested in me they'd ask me how I was doing 2 to 3 times A YEAR in the final years. Never asked me about my family or friends. In the last year they didn't even say Happy New Year or Happy Birthday
