@joefielder.bsky.socialOh, the Enterprise is a twenty-minute bike ride away, you say. Hmm...
@crobertcargill.bsky.socialReposted by @joefielder.bsky.socialIf you need a pickmeup, Ukraine struck and destroyed a Russian data center last night, reducing Russian bot traffic by 50%, dropping online pro-AfD discussion to zero, cratering MAGA traffic, and making Elon big mad. Just in time for the mid-terms. Slava fucking Ukraini.
@joefielder.bsky.socialNight 11 of #31nightsofhorror: Never After Dark, a recently released film that's a decent enough ghost story, but doesn't quite match up against some of the others on our list this month. (Granted, it's a pretty stacked deck with Kwaidan, Kuroneko, The Woman in Black, and Exhuma.)
@iwriteok.bsky.socialReposted by @joefielder.bsky.socialdoes supporting air strikes against data centers come with a number of side effects that may be hard to predict? well so does climate change, dummy, and we're doing that and I think my thing is more fun.
@joefielder.bsky.socialI also hate: I've never suffered, they must deserve it.
@mikebithell.bsky.socialReposted by @joefielder.bsky.socialIt annoys me that a transformers meme is this true of the human condition.
@joefielder.bsky.socialNight 10 of #31nightsofhorror: It's not *super* Halloween-y, but we had an opportunity to see Pacific Rim in a five-story IMAX dome screen tonight and I'd contend that monsters invading from another dimension counts pretty firmly as horror, so it made our list.
@joefielder.bsky.socialFalling forever.
@joefielder.bsky.socialThanks! Will definitely mention once we announce. Hope you've been well!
@joefielder.bsky.socialTo explain the two-year gap, I decided to write a 150 page comic story comprised of a dozen smaller stories taking place over multiple decades in a hundred fifty year period. This was the last one and it was the rug that brought the whole room together, so to speak.
@joefielder.bsky.socialThis morning, I plotted out a story I've been wanting to write for two years and, whew, what a relief that is. It's great to set goals for your writing that you're not sure if you can actually pull off, but it can hang over you a bit in ways you're not always completely conscious of.
@joefielder.bsky.socialA few years ago, I made a friend on IG based on our mutual love of DC 60s Witching Hour comics and we hang out when I'm in LA and he sends me Halloween cards every year. He's great.
@akfedeau.bsky.socialReposted by @joefielder.bsky.socialoh wow, new followers from that game narrative starter pack. hi! i'm AK. i've written for a bunch of different things. you may otherwise know me for thinking about video game characters in pretty clothes and other character design nonsense. get in touch if you want me to write for you too 💅
@joefielder.bsky.socialVery sorry to hear, Dillon. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

The Arrow Video 4k release was restored from the original negative and looks crisp and clean... when Sadako's video isn't being played, at least.
@tressiemcphd.bsky.socialReposted by @joefielder.bsky.socialI can’t stress enough that this notion of if and when It will gain consciousness is Bible fanfic. It’s not real.
@joefielder.bsky.socialNice work! It's wonderfully fun and I love the writing and performances. It's really just a joy to play.
