We are three crones who have been swapping smut since we were maidens and therefore spend a lot of time yelling about romance books.

@smutreport.comReview: A Substitute Wife for the Prizefighter by Alice Coldbreath I found this romance deeply satisfying on several levels.
@smutreport.comThis week on Tumblereads, we're just talking about 3 books we read recently and liked…and one that Holly was having some mixed feelings about.
@smutreport.comI too am interested in the answers to this question ⬇️
@smutreport.comReview: Avalon Tower by C.N. Crawford and Alex Rivers This book is what you get when you cross King Arthur with James Bond and also add fairies and magic school. It was a wild ride and Ingrid is HERE FOR IT. *Recommended Read!*
@libro.fmReposted by @smutreport.comA certain mega retailer's big sale ended yesterday? Great news. You can shop great deals and support your indie bookshop EVERY day with Libro audiobooks.
@smutreport.comThis week in My First Smut, author Rowan Thorn talks about entering the world of erotica via horror. (We are equal opportunity smut enthusiasts here!)
@smutreport.comAlso, the cover art is beautiful (do I want that cover as a poster? yes, yes I do)
@smutreport.comIf you get it please report back!
@smutreport.comOh dear, this looks like the exact kind of historical romance that I either love or am utterly disappointed by

@smutreport.comFellow Smut Reporter Erin is a huge Annabeth Albert fan and did like this one, but notes that the characters felt really young. A great read as long as you're down for some New Adult Angst.
@smutreport.comMy review with deets: smutreport.com/2025/10/10/r...
@smutreport.comJack Jackson is a completely normal human man with a completely normal human name. What do you mean he's a demon? (I loved this one)
@smutreport.comFor anti-Prime day, might we interest you in some curated smut lists, organized by mood and representation?
@smutreport.comReview: When the Tides Held the Moon by Venessa Vida Kelley The romance is sweet, but what Erin really loved about this book was the found family coming together to support the MC when he really needed it.
@smutreport.comFor the midweek folks, did you know we have a podcast? New episodes most Sundays
@smutreport.comThis episode was especially wide-ranging, even including a mention of Flannery O'Connor (not a romance author) and how stressful her short stories are
@smutreport.comThis week on Tumblereads, we're talking about follow through (and the lack thereof)
@smutreport.comI'm so-so on Kleypas, but I agree that this new one sounds interesting!
@smutreport.comSome October releases we're looking forward to reading!
