I also don't really believe that these "rogue agents" are as rogue as they say. They're probably either very much intentionally introduced to these environments or were designed for something similar in the first place, neither of which is at all good

Using AI to do a crime does not absolve you of criminality. AI is just a computer program. It's already illegal to use computers to do crimes. Even other people's computers. Furthermore, AI is unnecessarily unsafe; using it to "accidentally" commit a crime should add charges of criminal negligence.
