I honestly don’t know much about El-Sayed, but this is a perfect answer from him. It’s also hilarious that Tommy used to work for Josh Hawley and was paid 250k for influencer marketing AGAINST El-Sayed. They might want to get a refund. What a spectacular backfire. The walk of shame at the end. 🤣

This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.

Nixon infected the modern Republican Party with a sickness that would ultimately kill it. Trump applied the coup de grace.

The Republican Party is now officially dead. Some thoughts... https://robertreich.substack.com/p/the-tragic-death-of-the-republican

I have met the legendary Adrian Dantley several times and every time he qas one of the most humble and gracious people you will ever meet. This level of selflessness is too rare today. God bless him and his family!

One thing most people don’t know about disability is how unsafe you feel ALL the time. It’s terrifying not being able to trust your body to function properly. It’s scary to need to rely on others for basic survival. It’s frightening watching society label you expendable.

As my pastor preaches just about every Sunday, "the biggest threat to white supremacy is Black excellence."

Ax Handle Saturday is not just a Jacksonville story. It’s a national reminder: segregation was enforced not only by law, but by organized white violence, official indifference, and youth courage that refused to break.

Never forget this story. Tell it. Share it.

The legacy lives on through the voices of survivors like Rodney Hurst, Alton Yates, and Nat Glover, who continue to remind the city of what happened when justice was demanded — and violently denied. Frank Priestly, pictured from left, Alton Yates and Rodney Hurst in 1993. They were there. (cont)

Today, Ax Handle Saturday is recognized as a turning point in Jacksonville’s civil rights history. A marker now stands in James Weldon Johnson Park, honoring the youth who refused to accept segregation — and the brutality they endured for standing up for what was right.(cont)

The Jacksonville Journal buried the story. TV stations ignored it. For decades, survivors’ testimonies were the primary record. In short, there is no footage that exists of this horrific incident—save a few private film clips. For the uninformed folks—this was by design.(cont)
