The voice acting was surprisingly good and it really felt like an actual Indiana Jones adventure! I loved the humor. I always wanted to see them make a movie of it.

I was so obsessed, it was one of the first two games I ever actually beat (Indy and the original Lion King game, which frankly drove me crazy) but I think it took me a year or two of trying 😂

The cheering children sounds every time one of them breaks open and spills their candy innards everywhere gets me every time 😂 It’s so weirdly dark!

Helped a friend find rescue placement for a kitten with a complex medical condition (hydrocephalus). I’ll be transporting him to LA tomorrow, but he’s so cute I almost cried when I opened the box from the shelter. 🥹

We’ve been doing holidays at my two older half sisters’ houses whenever they’re not held at my parents’ house forever and I’m like, the baby of the family because mom had me at 40, so I have this like weird complex where I feel like they’ll never take me seriously because being able to host holidays

Made the mistake of calling Mom to get some advice from Dad about the fridge and she asked if I was coming home for Christmas and I mentioned how hurt I was that she hasn’t visited in ten years and I really wanted them to meet my dog but now he’s gone and she fucking laughed at me.

lol the house is having electrical problems now and I thought it was a cat fountain with a wire short last night but the fridge has been out and the catio lights are flipping out. Food’s all warm, moved what is salvageable to the garage fridge. Breaker’s off to that part of the house for now.

I’m sorry if this seems really whiney, I just need to vent sometimes. I’ve been self isolating because I feel like all I have to talk about lately is sad or bad stuff no one really wants to hear. And, ideally, I need people to realize that I’m doing the best I can. 🥲
