Woo, squeezing in about 3ish hours to draw. :B Than I gotta make dinner and probably crash right after.

We are at our local card shop. They moved to a new location & there was a wedding next door, the bride & groom came in. 😭💞 It was so cute!! All the guests keep coming over to get cards too. So cute. Good business for them too.

🫩 I am so tired of conversations turning into trying to one up or 'prove' you know more & getting the other person to be impressed with you. I miss just happy talking about a subject. Both coming in talking about the things you love. I see this in discords & in real life conversations.

It's worse online. It's harder to sell fanart with actual searchable keywords cause you will get C&D. I can't sell my ATLA or demon slayers on my etsy. They get pulled every time. There are lawyers that go to cons & you can be told to remove stuff. Happens more often at BIG cons. It's a risk.

also good news for me, since the SO has his weekly card game night, I get to be alone for a few hours which means I have time to draaaaawwwwww Ye.

Like could you imagine an animator coming into work going "Sorry guys, I cant draw today. No inspo. Just cant seem to. :CCCC" Like no, you'd get fired. Doing commissions is a JOB. Stop treating it like a hobby. Its not.

Seriously. I have a public queue. I timestamp the last time I update it. I communicate with all of my commissioners. Angers me to see artists abuse their clients. YOU HAVE A JOB. You have been paid. Sometimes you have to force yourself to work even if you do not like how it looks. Thats a job.
