✅ Unreal job creating near-constant pressure with their (presumptive) top-2 pass rushing threats out.

* taps sign vigorously until it breaks *

Jags consistently behind the play clock today. Always pressed to get the snap off. Giving Philly a free half-step to start the rush. ⏱️

At 5 pm CT, we'll have our weekly Bear Era Happy Hour over on the YT channel. It's Packers week, but we'll certainly kick it off talking about Mike Ditka. Join us: Bring your beverage of choice, your thoughts, and questions. See you there.

Idea for honoring Mike Ditka: Instead of just the Bears having a patch on their uniforms, make one that every TE in the league could wear. He was so far ahead of his time at that position (his rookie TE receiving record stood for 63 years!) it'd be a cool way to honor his legacy.

A huge loss for football. Ditka was one-of-a-kind as a player, and then went on to be the same as a coach. R.I.P. to a legend of the game.

“Boop! Got your nose.” - Declan Doyle, probably.

Bootleggers you say? Plus WRC? Two of my favorite things in the same place at the same time. 🤔 Might just have to schedule a remote podcast…

You can call this Sean Mannion problem if you want to… but you’d have to deny what your eyes are telling you to do it. He schemed this open. It’s there. Any QB has to hit that throw. If they won’t, you can’t throw it for them. 🤷🏻‍♂️

DET’s brand of defense so far this season:

Cameron Thomas, a former 3rd round pick of the Cardinals who is on a one year, $3.1M deal, led the Falcons in pressures today. 2nd in pressures was Yasir Abdullah, a former Jags draft pick who the Falcons claimed off waivers July 31. Jeff Ulbrich is a madman

No really, basically no defense at all. Tough scene on that side of the ball in the Motor City. 😬

Detroit’s defense is trying everything they can to slow CAR down, but nothing is working. Panthers’ OL blowing them off the ball, Bryce is too sharp, and McMillan is basically levitating. Sometimes you’re just overmatched.

Bryce Young is unconscious right now. Seeing it very quickly, and releasing accurate darts just as fast. Deadly combo for a defense. ⚡️🎯

Regardless of the outcome, massive respect for Justin Herbert’s toughness today. He got the absolute stuffing beat out of him today, and just kept standing up and firing.

Turnover-palooza at the end of these first halves.
