Yesterday, La Murga de Austin - the volunteer band that provides the soundtrack to every Austin FC home game - walked out of the stadium and called out the club for its silence around ICE activities in Austin. Amazing.

Like, my biggest takeaway is to cherish the person you choose to make your life with. What also stood out, and maybe it's the romantic in me, is that every time the film shows clips of the celebration after a big moment, you always see Saban looking for Miss Terry. And IDK, it's just so great.

But what really struck me was how much the series spends on establishing Miss Terry as the formative factor in Nick Saban's success. Not because she was behind him, but because you can see how much he values his wife as a partner in everything-even the players and coaches give Miss Terry her due.

I really loved the Saban docuseries, and much of that is because the filmmaker chooses to present Saban's life and career as one thing. It's about the man behind the wins, and Saban is noticeably vulnerable at multiple times throughout his interviews. It's about a man more than a myth. My review:
