It’s so weird that Americans have a system that explicitly hurts entrepreneurialism (no universal health care) and we pretend it’s good for business
Deeply funny, because the average summary of the Galaxy any year post-2014 is “one really good forward and one really good midfielder, with lots of questions along the back and in goal.”
Whatever I have, I can live with it.
Turns out Carlo is exposing the Holse in the Galaxy defense
The late-game gods still taking pity on Orlando for that 2018 Hail Mary from Rooney to Acosta. Can't even blame 'em.
It's beyond time for Heaps to be rotational in the midfield, but especially not to throw the veteran into a withdrawn role. Just makes the US porous in transition, and gums up their build-up considerable.
Spain really are a marvel, but this goes to show that the margins have only gotten thinner. US given a rude awakening to start the first of these friendlies.
Honestly assumed Shaw would be shown it if it was one or the other.
Beyond me.
It’s the premeditated shove plus at least 45% of the contact on headbutting. But one’s being assessed as a “fiery South American” and the other is “a crafty Brit,” so here we are.
Looked to be worth a double red but the guidance on yellows and reds changes every week now, so who knows.
Polymarket’s latest stateside spokesperson? Steven Gerrard, surely the closest they could get to their own Sydney Sweeney.
A long season, plenty of time to delve into the recipe book.
Cherries clobbered.
Crystal Palace’s American import had never lived anywhere but Utah before moving to London. Now, he’s aiming for more Premier League minutes

Zavier Gozo caught up with @us.theguardian.com after his US debut, reflecting on being an eight-figure signing after his homegrown start, why Crystal Palace turned his head, and how he's adapting. www.theguardian.com/football/202...
One of my final cuts, 23-25ish. A really good building block for Dallas.
completely fair and genuinely how I skew with my ballot too, but I do try to save a spot or two for guys on the verge I’ve been hearing about who pass the eye test. I won’t be surprised if Parker misses the final list. But he’s someone worth monitoring.
Boring is also effective, and that raises the floor - valuable traits!
Generally, there’s one spot on my ballot for players who haven’t gotten long MLS looks yet, but are outperforming expectations in Next Pro and therefore seem inevitable (+ contracted). Last year, it was Cavan Sullivan (~19 on my list iirc). This year: Van, who was also my nom for Next Generation.
