The way they kept pulling every room's worth of adds you'd think they wanted to be main tank

Lynatwyr unfortunately only got two pieces of hoard in her journeys and thus walked away with nothing but materia. Sad.

A Gladiator, a Dark Knight, a Gunbreaker, and Black Mage enter palace of the dead. You get one guess as to who the party designated as main tank for the next 40 floors.

Day 1: Dreams

A shot I still love—one of the last I took before the maintenance for DT and the graphics update. A final dream before everything changed.

Just a reminder I completely and utterly disapprove of GenAI and don't accept it anywhere in my vicinity. So if I keep seeing any Aion 2 on my dashboard I will have to block it 👍

Sketch for the next piece on the post. Foreground is in blue, background in red

Drawing of myself on top of a picture of my OCs. I'm a brown-skinned man with brown eyes and black curly hair tied into a ponytail, I've got a beard and a moustache. I'm wearing a trench coat a black turtleneck sweater, black pants and black and white sneakers. The picture is styled as a comic page with the quote 'Even if it's loud, and messy, and imperfect, keep choosing forward.' between panels with a semi-transparent signature that reads 'By Black Mario, for Black Mario'. On the top right panel, there is a picture of Rito and Krile sleeping (Krile is a female lalafell NPC from FFXIV which I've OCfied a bit, and Rito is my Lalafell OC and FFXIV Warrior of Light). In the top middle panel is Jules (the god of deception from my DnD campaign) a purple tiefling who's looking sad under night light. The top right panel has all my DnD player characters looking and pointing at the sun. (I'll summarize: we have - Rippley, goblin sorceror; Ladislava, aasimar samurai; Jolly, plasmoid barbarian; Figaro, duergar artificer; Gris, half-orc fighter/warlock; Chen, human monk; Bosco, halfling druid; Dardallyn, drow wizard; Xian, yuan ti monk; Holtsander, high elf fighter; Glint, genasi paladin; Eliott, eladrin rogue; Tabitha, tabaxxi cleric; Adalech, tiefling rogue; Sagen, changeling bard, and Roxxie, human artificer.) Below Rito's panel, we have a panel with Arianna (spider girl), Skorpia (pink tiefling), Hu'go (grumpy goblin), Márvara (muscular drow) and Kosta (well groomed orc), all having fun at a karaoke. Below them we have Bob and Red, who's drinking strawberry flavored milk, walking under a sunset sky. Below them we have a panel of Janet (a spirit showing as a human) making a heart with her fingers in a dark alley. And finally we have a panel with Geexi the bespectacled goblin looking distraught after being found by the witch Vesperia, on the background, silhouetted by the moon Ai, the goblin ninja, is ready to strike the witch down.

"these researchers published a paper on something that literally any of us could have told you 🙄" ok well my supervisors wont let me write something in my thesis unless I can back it up with a citation so maybe it's a good thing that they're amplifying your voice to the scientific community in a way that prevents people from writing off your experiences as annecdotal evidence
they did the research in the first place because they believed you and wanted to tell people about it. they are not our enemies.

people always go "Instead of spending all that time on a study they could have just listened to us when we said these thing happen"

they did listen, that's how studies work, they asked people about their experiences and put all the data together in a nice package that can be cited
