My guidance is to take the time to define exactly what you need your computer to do, keep it high level. Then, seek guidance on which is the best Desktop Environment to support those needs. After you made that selection, ask which Distro best supports that DE. Happy to help if you require.

never but that's just me

Powerful words, and it angers me that incidents like this occur in a 'civilized' society.

With ya dude. No-one in the major parties listens to the Oz people but simple follow the Disraeli manifesto of political control. I'll be voting for whoever has a change of turfing out "the establishment". If they lose enough members maybe they'll remember where their allegiances should lay.

The rest of the day the radio station fielded a torrent of complaints from listeners because they terminated a classic. There were calls for station heads to roll. Next morning, the station made an on-air apology and played Alice's Restaurant in full... peace reigned.

Many years ago, Ex and I driving to work. At 0750 radio DJ comes on and says "got a flashback from way back" and Alice's Restaurant starts. Ruh, roh, the song isn't going to fit in the time slot. 0759 DJ comes back on, stops Alice and says "enough of that, here's the 8 o'clock news."

nice shot

Absolutely!

ya beat me.

I made a sudden lunge to stop my prime camera falling off the tripod, felt a 'pop' in my groin/thigh. That was 2 weeks ago, finally got more than a couple of hours sleep last night. A sling has become my newest/fav home helper. Look after your framework EDH, you too will age at some time.

I, for one, am sick and tired of grumpy old farts killing kids.
