Also i have about 90 minutes before I get to the metal store. Will take any melodic death metal or power metal recs.
Kuma at coco. We recommend the hand made cutlet!
Fighting off feeling down from medical issues by dressing up like a technicolor misfit, taking my teddy bear, and going to Shibuya to buy melodic death metal and eat curry.
Trying very very hard to keep the positive attitude I had about my health and my future that I shared in my article and on the Sickboy podcast, but it's getting very hard because it feels like my body just doesn't want to not be in pain somehow.
About two weeks after my pain went away, my body decided that I wanted to pee 6-8 times a night or more. Is it the benzo taper? Is it a side effect of my medication? Is it a physical problem? WHO KNOWS. It's just life's cruel joke. I had a brief moment of relief and it's getting torn away.
Thankfully kuma is in my backpack. I can't see him but I know he's there for moral support.
I stand by what I said in my blog post. I generally feel happy now and I have hope that I'll continue to get better, but on days like these, it can be difficult.
And three doctors appointments and PT in one week. It's for the best but it can be exhausting.
I feel good, generally, six days a week, but once in a while my sleep turns to shit for no identifiable reason and it really fucks with me.
It's amazing how one bad medical day can just set you back months, mentally.
I dunno why, but pirate metal is just a bit too silly for me
If you got any more bands to recommend, send them my way. Really like Windrose, Wintersun, Winter Storm (lots of winter here) Amorphis, and Tyr. I also like clean vocal bands like Twilight Force, Rhapsody, Power Paladin and Fellowship (who are corny as fuck).
Yeah I've just gotten into this kind of music the past two years, really missed out on good shit. Fuck indie rock bullshit metal rules
Turns out I like songs about Odin
Light Saturday excursion with Kuma. Physically I feel fantastic lately but the background static of "what's next" anxiety has been overwhelming. Kuma helps. So does death metal. New Amon Amarth rules.
Too bad I ripped the whole thing and am gonna put it on my blog. IF NOT ME WHO?
By far the darkest of the original Universal Monster flicks. Sequels are an odd sort. The direct sequel is bad. Invisible Woman is funny for what it is. Invisible Agent is a fascinating very early action/ comedy hybrid.
Ah, so stupidity. Got it.
So this Smurf album I bought is actually in Japanese, it's not a repackaged European or american release. It's, um, something.
