You won't be surprised to learn that I checked out Oblivion Remastered on Switch 2 for @gamesradarplus.bsky.social. The porting job itself is pretty great and far above what was shown off with videos, but deeper, lingering tech woes make it a bit frustrating too: www.gamesradar.com/games/the-el...
Considering Fallout already happened, it's hard to imagine Xbox not being down to lend Warcraft, Diablo, and The Elder Scrolls, all of which would be really really easy UB sells.
D&D: WoW kinda gives away a MTG Warcraft set is happening sooner or later, right?
New artwork of Ultron devouring Vision on display at the âVISIONQUESTâ exhibit.
The initial murder mystery fell flat, but it grew into a very interesting and surprisingly nuanced show during its second half, and it's a shame they didn't give it a fair shake with a more focused second season.
Uh oh, did someoneâs website and personal account experience a big drop in activity after Ukraine hit a Russian data center?
The mad thing about video games is that they still fucken rule, despite everything
I sense there's just a deep frustration over there (and this also includes devs) rooted in not being able to crack the subgenre despite regularly dominating traditional MP, BR, and zombie-killing co-op, but extraction shooters are hard and niche and specific. It'd require a standalone fresh project.
Not that it'll damage its overall performance, but a game built around core MP and Warzone (which behaves like core MP with higher HP and within a different structure) can't be retrofitted into a truly hardcore experience that demands very different base-level design and rhythm.
Activision desperately attempting to make extraction happen again and spearheading its MW4 multiplayer marketing with it is a mistake.
The Biddy Blas thing is a fun reminder that you canât make that happen. It just does. Let it.
They need to put Grogu in a speeder.
Fortunately, they gave that shit a different title, so AC8 remains GOTY.
I can deal with progression BS, but I won't with spending more time in menus than playing missions and matches. Life is short.
AC8's multiplayer being full of menus within menus and padded out progression.
Many of us always stuck with the theory no one was over anything, they just were over IPs being THE selling point. Put enticing enough projects in front of a people at a healthy pace and it's fine. Spidey (twice) and D&W killing it prove this.
Mind you, neither went really away as the barrage of new projects contained a few wins, but I think the effort to heal the damage of Chapek's era (quantity over quality) with actual big-screen events and much less packed schedules will pay off.
I have absolutely zero evidence to support this, but I'm sensing both Doomsday and Starfighter will be hits that effectively resuscitate the MCU and Star Wars for mainstream audiences.
