I promise I won't spam the feed with my stolen art, but I wanted to share this one because I enjoyed painting it. I used black watercolors on toned paper, something I hadn't tried before. (There is a Leyendecker watercolor that made me want to try this combo of materials) "Nocturne"

I was in the crowd for this one. Then I got to draw its cover. My artwork for Alcest's first live album, "Live at Hellfest 2022", out Dec 4 (Nuclear Blast). Two sphinxes, graphite, tea, coffee and gold leaf. A tribute to Joseph Urban's "Sphynxe" (1903). 🖤
