I had a fridge logic moment like: "so you realize some people find comfort in labels the same way you fear them, right?" I felt like a huge ass and all those fears started to feel pointless and stupid and gradually just evaporated. In their place was "I think I'd prefer to be a girl, actually"

Since high school I'd been afraid of being pigeonholed or reduced to a label, so I avoided them like the plague and judged other people for using them. But one day I think I just saw a Twitter post where someone was expressing genuine comfort and joy in their identity, and something clicked.

I was a pretty insufferable gender abolitionist for a long time bc I hated labels, and that was holding me back from figuring it out - I was so convinced agender was the only "correct" choice Then something clicked, I realized labels weren't inherently bad, and the whole facade crumbled away

I might've burned my share of bridges standing up for trans rights but I'd do it all again in a heartbeat. FUCK THEM BIGOTS. Make 'em uncomfortable. SPOIL TERF WIZARD GAMES. And let 'em cry and whine til the cows come home. I got morals. They ain't got shit.
