God I know the feeling - It really sucks because the nice people assume I'm super busy so don't reach out and then it filters out to where most people who do message me a lot ONLY want free art, free tutoring, free business consultancy etc I have VERY few actual friends who like me back :C

It's like 30 people at this point :/ I just assume I'm not their friend - That I view them much more as a friend then what they think of me which sucks when every interaction we have online or in person has been so much fun. Dumping all that on them feels like a burden, and won't get read :c

ALSO because social media requires one post about the thing and 500 clarifying posts - This is situations when the person I thought was a friend is very active on socials and chats etc so it's easier to just stop messaging them. I view it as hint of "I don't wanna talk to you"

IF the scenario was flipped - When do I leave someone on read like that? Usually if they're only messaging me because they're "bored"... I don't know them anyway and usually they just want something selfish from me So when people do that to me I assume they might view me like that.

The amount of people I thought were friends who just leave me on read lmao. After like 5+ posts over months I'm not going to message you again because at that point I just feel like you don't want to read my messages or have me archived or something Either way - Why bother if it won't be read?
