Unfortunately, like the overwhelming majority of scumbags in this world who have made numerous people’s lives worse, he’s likely to be alright.

Yes, that “successful interference” is really the top. Like “successful rape”.

A tweet on a dark blue background features a profile picture of a man and text in white. The text includes a statement about the 2016 referendum and a comparison to a previous official. The word Starmer appears in the text.

If presidential elections are held in Ukraine soon, Volodymyr Zelensky will not have to run a campaign – his team will just need to circulate statements against him by Trump, Musk and the Kremlin.

Russia’s escalating sabotage campaign in Europe is not a display of strength but of panic: every day of Russia’s war on Ukraine pushes Moscow further behind in the civilisational contest it has already lost. buff.ly/KGDQjR0

Mind you, if Ukraine keeps bombing Russian data centres and thus disrupts Russian digital campaigns aiming to boost MAGA in the run-up to the midterms, Trump will soon say that Ukraine is interfering in the US politics. Because how else to describe the disruption of Russian pro-Trump info ops?

@shekhovtsov.substack.comOct 10, 2026, 6:57 AM

Trump’s decision to strike a deal with Putin and buy Russian diesel – weakening sanctions and bankrolling the Russian war machine – is truly Lindsey Graham’s “sanctions from hell”. No confusion or contradiction here – Graham was a turncoat who betrayed US Republicanism by jumping on the MAGA wagon.

The number of foreign powers August Hanning, former head of Germany's Federal Intelligence Service, apparently supplied stolen data to keeps multiplying: Israel, Azerbaijan, China… So now Hanning looks like he was an intelligence grocery. Hanning. Like Rewe, Aldi or Lidl, but for intelligence.

Washington objected because the conference programme – for the first time – included a panel framing the US itself as a source of foreign information manipulation and interference, which US officials regarded as unacceptable. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026... 3/3

Today I have my answer: Canada, Lithuania and the EU’s diplomatic service withdrew their official sponsorship of #Disinfo2026, Europe’s leading counter-disinformation conference held in Vilnius, after the US State Department pressured multiple governments over their support for the event. 2/3

In June this year, I wondered, in my column for EUobserver @euobserver.com, whether the EU would be prepared to call out MAGA Washington’s interference in European politics the same way it rightly called out Moscow’s and Beijing’s interference. euobserver.com/222156/europ... 1/3

As the far-right AfD is preparing a joint motion in the Saxony-Anhalt council together with the far-left BSW calling for an end to military support for Ukraine, one may want to recall this piece from 2023. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2023/04/21/germany-russia-interference-afd-wagenknecht/

Depends. DSA can be really different from the rotten Clinton-clan establishment, but it’s not easy to scale up the Mamdani moment.

@shekhovtsov.substack.comOct 7, 2026, 3:50 PM

The mechanisms of capture will simply become less visible and somewhat softer, friendlier, dressed in a more enlightened legitimisation – but exactly because of such a posture things will get worse in the end. 4/4
