@tylerjfisher.comWell, The Ringer logo is right there on the site, and he's like the fifth Ringer person to start a Substack, e.g. seanfennessey.substack.com bryancurtis.substack.com

@tylerjfisher.comthe ringer: a podcasting company owned by spotify that publishes its video exclusively to netflix and has a website but puts its most premium writing on substack. i'm sure the partnership deals are nice but it's so shortsighted!
@tylerjfisher.comvery excited that @zachlowenba.bsky.social is writing again. absolutely perplexed that the ringer has a whole website but feels the need to outsource newsletters to substack. guessing bill cashed a big check. zachlowe.substack.com/p/welcome-to...
@tylerjfisher.comThose who have known me for a while know i have a, um, long history of working on American election coverage, so I'm excited to see this!

@tylerjfisher.comI’ve been helping build the new 40verse app. We’re thinking about culture and live events on the Atmosphere. How might we build social experiences around events that benefit audiences and organizers alike? Come check it out next week!
@tylerjfisher.comOh I know! But that's very different from "select * from internet.blogposts"!
@tylerjfisher.comI've been working diligently on my fantasy sports on atproto prototype, and as soon as the spaces alpha launched, everything really fell into place. Instead of working around the fundamental tension of a fully public network, I could easily match user expectations of a fantasy league.
