Florence Hazrat on Philip Sydney, the uncontested early modern king of brackets and his romance Arcadia, which abruptly ends, like its author’s life, hanging on a parenthesis: https://publicdomainreview.org/essay/philip-sidney-and-the-extreme-disgraces-of-the-parenthesis/ #SundayReads
we saw/heard Kenny at one of his last gigs at Pizza Express, in London. There is a tremendous BBC TV documentary from the early 1980s. He had, for some time, been a Postman in East London :) Photography is not one of my life-skills LoL.

James, where do you find this stuff? !! Have a good weekend !
Tony Ray-Jones. I have driven past his plaque on (Gloucester Place, Marylebone, London) endless number of times. Here the Lancashire Britannia Nutters (I know, I know ...) are a foil to, what is I think, is a Daimler with the bonnet-up.
Thanks Roger. The Elephant (was the Moss Hall Tavern), North Finchley closest to me. I am not sure that my GP will approve LoL :)
Some bloke on YouTube is transcribing Pat Metheny tunes.
I can cope with this.

Ying/Yang.
Sail and Steam. Two of Gaselee's tugs with the three bands on the funnel, 'heavy-lifting'. Strangely, the current Clerk of the Worshipful Company of Weavers, is a son of the last Gaselee on the River.

I have had a fortunate life. Sixteen years ago, I happened to be in the same Room as the wonderful Tim Garland. I was much slimmer and darker in those days ! The Pheasantry, King's Road, Chelsea.
Max Roach Park, on (the) Brixton Road, South London.
R.I.P., George Fenton. Thanks for the music, particularly the Bergerac theme.
NO CELLPHONES !!!
Actual LoL :)
some sort of Custom House ?
I recall the Westminster portcullis on the front door. The taxi cafe car-park was used as a holding-bay for the deceased during Covid. Tragic. I recall the Southwark Coroner, Montague Levine (Tennis Street SE1) was a bit a character :)
Was there a Postage Stamp in this style in the late 60s / 70s ?
