Can see how compact Ausar’s form has become. Knocks down a few with Ebuka Okorie here

Daniss Jenkins after practice today: “The expectations are higher for myself … I’m striving to be the best version of myself. You’re here, now let’s see what I’ve really got. That’s what I’m looking at.” Also talks about his fit with Cade.

JB Bickerstaff on the 3pm start tomorrow: "It is what it is at this point. I understand why in opening the game up to the international market, so it makes sense. The league does a great job of growing its fanbase and outreach so I think it’s another example of it."

Final practice before the regular season just wrapped. Cade’s getting shots up in the background, Duren in the foreground

A story about a Renaissance alumnus, written and reported by a Renaissance alumnus 🙏🏾🙏🏾

So they knew he had a blood clot in his calf, allowed him to play anyway after being awake for a day and a half, flew him back to the US from London and then found more clots in his lungs?

Asked JB about the team’s depth at practice today: “We’ve gotta make some tough decisions, but it’s an 82-game season and we’ve proven we’re gonna give guys opportunities throughout the 82.”

Gears E Day is a heater

Assistant coach Jarrett Jack handled the postgame press conference. JB lost his voice

12 points in the fourth from Okorie, on perfect 4-4 shooting, to help close this one out. Hits two free throws to extend the lead to 125-119 with 45.6 seconds left

Okorie is a bucket

The end-of-bench Raptors are on a 13-0 run against the end-of-bench Pistons, who are now trailing 100-99 with 6:48 to go

I've seen a lot of Jumbotron crowd cutaways and have never seen that

A kid put up the middle finger on the Jumbotron. One of the loudest crowd reactions of the night lol

Taurean Prince and Javonte Green are in. Pistons moving down their bench now

Ausar's presence has been felt on offense this quarter. Hit a middy out of an iso, drive into the paint and found Duren cutting for a dunk, and just came up with a steal and fed Cade for a fastbreak dunk.

That spin from Duren was smooth. He made a ball-handling leap last year and it looks like he's making another one this year
