An "Adult Logic Puzzle" book with a clearly AI generated cover? Well, I'm sure they wouldn't have used AI to make the actual puzzles! Oh... oh.

The cover to an "ADULTS LOGIC PUZZLE" book. The cover is clearly AI generated and features a wildly confusing illustration of a cat/raccoon/hedgehog hybrid creature, with a pose and aura that suggest it is exposing itself to strangers. The creature somehow has EVERY expression on it's face, simultaneously but ultimately looks as though it's suffered a severe head injury. It also has two tails, like Miles Prower from Sonic, had he been forsaken by god.

My wife wouldn’t either but unfortunately not everyone appreciates how fucking awful and stupid AI is and when the heads of their trust are pushing staff to use it to make posters and flyers around the school “look more professional” it’s just exhausting.

I started ranting at a teacher about it but the truth is, they’re already burned out b/c the school have cut staff & increased everyone’s workload. I was getting angry with someone who isn’t doing it maliciously - they’ve just been told it’s the right thing to use now. It’s all fucked 😔

Yes! Our youngest’s school use it everywhere and it drives me nuts. But, as my wife (secondary teacher) pointed out, the tech has been pitched to most schools as a way to create resources quickly & they currently have no understanding or appreciation as to why it’s bad.

Cowboys again. This time one of our boys has lost his boots. Standing in a field of long grass the cowboy points towards the ground and shouts back to his colleague, “Lil bone people got muh boots.” This makes no sense to the other cowboy who sits atop his horse away from the action. He responds, “Lil wut?” Sure enough in the foreground we see a squad of little bone people scampering through the grass with the stolen cowboy boots. They’re thrilled. How the bone people got the boots off the cowboy is unclear.

Artist’s note: I tend to draw drawings from the same perspective (straight on) most of the time. This idea came about when I was goofin around trying to draw a character from a lower angle. I like that the story unfolds with the foreground, mid-ground, and background all working together. There’s a draft of this one included in the Spooky Pants book. Coming out next week!
