I'm not going to lie. This has been one of the scariest moments of my life, not only with what happened but coming home to an empty house and realising I was alone to pick up the pieces. I have no family here, so I've been very slow to get back onto my feet and I still have a long way to go. -

I had surgery to cut off some of the blood supply to the tumor, and although I have a pretty gross infection at my IV site, I am home, resting, and trying to focus on getting better. -

So bit of a personal update, tw medical content and illness Last Monday night I collapsed in the shower, and began puking up blood. I managed to get to the phone and call for help, where at the hospital I was found to have a pretty large tumor (benign) on my kidney that was bleeding internally. -

EXCELLENT. JUST. PERFECT.
