Shout out to @danielhkwan.bsky.social for the Yellow Submarine recommendation, I love shops like that and seeing one in Tokyo was super cool.
@valorliana.bsky.socialThis has been such a cool project, make sure you catch the premiere this Saturday!

@valorliana.bsky.social@valorliana.bsky.socialBack in Seattle and BEYOND ready to be home here's hoping Seatac doesn't take TOO long to clear
@valorliana.bsky.socialHeading to the airport to fly back to the States! We had an amazing time abd already can't wait for our next trip. Onward to Gateway FATE!
@valorliana.bsky.socialThey turned AI into a literal Saturday Morning Cartoon Villain for the performance and I think that's neat.
@valorliana.bsky.socialWe got to see the Sailor Moon stage show yesterday (it was absolutely delightful) but it really took until now for me to find out that Tuxedo Mask DOES have an attack of his own, the Anime just never used it which I find VERY funny.
@valorliana.bsky.social@valorliana.bsky.socialVisited Akihabara and Ikebukuro today and my wallet cries for mercy. I DID acquire a copy of Sword World 2.5 which was definitely one of my objectives - I think the owner was rather bemused when two American women in dresses with colored hair waltzed into his store and bought that.
@valorliana.bsky.socialWeirdest Japan discovery that makes a lot of sense in hindsight - Google maps is actually very good at subway navigation directions.
@valorliana.bsky.socialJapan is wonderful and I'm having a great time but dear god every taxi is blasting constant AI ads and it suuuuuucks

@valorliana.bsky.socialSimultaneous local multiplayer on the same screen, ideally on the same platform. Hotseat games where you swap off also qualify but occupying the same space is a must
@valorliana.bsky.socialOh lol no it's just Verizon charging roaming
@valorliana.bsky.socialMade it to Japan! I am exhausted and sweaty but my eSim is working and our hotel has a shuttle from the airport so let's fucking go
@valorliana.bsky.socialBoarded! Catch you all later!
@valorliana.bsky.socialGetting lunch in the terminal before we board for Japan! I will be somewhat scarce for the next 10 days but I shall endeavor to take many pictures
@failbettergames.comReposted by @valorliana.bsky.socialWe're hiring! We're looking for a Writer and Narrative Designer to join the Fallen London team at a senior or mid level.
This position is permanent, remote, and full time, which for us means 35 hours a week.
@valorliana.bsky.socialI've been playing entirely too much Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave (and will do so much more on my 10-hour flight to Japan this Wednesday) and I have to say, a Life of Glory is one of the best songs the franchise has ever produced. It is SUCH a banger and masterfully incorporates the classic theme.
@valorliana.bsky.socialSuperGiant Games just put up their whole Hades concert which I'm watching now and it's absolutely fantastic. Love seeing Scylla and the Sirens live.
@valorliana.bsky.socialI'm likely a bit of an odd one but for me, I'm not interested in "yuri" so much as I am in sapphic romance and relationships between two women. Yuri is just typically a vehicle to get that but I can be a bit choosy since I want the queerness to be integral to the experience.
@valorliana.bsky.socialYeah honestly that wouldn't surprise me at all. But agreed, I'm absolutely here for it (also Soul Blazer/Illusion of Gaia re-release when???)
