Update: feeling has started returning to parts of my hand that have been literally numb, and it doesn't agree with the state it is in. But it at least is giving me reduced concern on nerve damage

this one is kinda like a butterfly closure bandage, but the ones I was using kept sweating off so I found this thing that's basically like a staple mixed in and put a waterproof bandage on top to hold it in place

If you want to have would closure stuff on hand for emergencies, I recommend medical grade cyanoacrylate or a zip-stitch. No-skill solutions for when you have no insurance and the ER wait time measures the wait time of a work shift

If curious as to why no stitches or cyanoacrylate, its because I got american healthcare'd. But at least one drugstore sells half decent wound closure kits

I wanna draw so bad, I was so close to finishing up comms and have several WIPs on hand

not posting the gore of my hand on public, but basically the slice is inbetween the back of the thumb and wrist. Anything that tenses that (like gripping or fully extending my arm) causes pain and sometimes bleeding.

While I can't draw or use the mouse to play games, I did discover I can play the controller like a gamepad so think that's what I'll be doing
