I’ve felt no desire in recent to participate in the Hellaverse online shipping scene because it feels like entering into war. Livelihoods are being threatened. Mental health deteriorating. I’ve seen a fraction of this as a radioapple shipper, and it’s WAY worse for those like HolyGates.

Sonoma County is one of the largest LGBT populations in the country. We have been called the second largest lgbt metropolitan population in the US. Electing anyone who is willing to throw our community to the side is a dangerous mistake, especially since so much of our population is our queer elders

Abusive online fandoms aren’t new, the algorithm is just trained to show you the worst of the worst so you’ll engage with it. Anger and vitriol is the current online currency. Being creative, kind, honest, and fun doesn’t move numbers anymore. Fight back by using block/mute and muted words/terms.
