I will try them!
Yep! Turks are elite, and being given any position of command is not going to be a lightly made decision.
The number of typos in these posts was unintentional, if ironic. (I wrote them when I was not quite awake)
These sound delicious
This is inspiring
I 100% agree that working to overcome the difficulties he had give him unexpected advantages. He thinks harder about what he's writing, and he knows techniques to check that he's communicating what he wants to communicate.
Getting into the Turks brings him a lot of support/opportunity he wouldn't otherwise have had. He's valued for his talents, but he needs to perform across multiple spheres. He works hard--he wouldn't be a Turk if not, and he definitely wouldn't be second-in-command--to 'catch up' where he's weaker.
I think Reno works hard to come off as carelessly competent. Why do people act careless? Sometimes, it's a defence mechanism to cover up difficulties (I didn't fail because I can't do it, I failed because I didn't try) The carelessness is a leftover from formative experience.
ahhhhhhh
gorgeous

I finished a WIP. Is this how it feels to see the face of God?
For me good art has to put its head into the jaws of Insisting Upon Itself and sometimes it gets devoured but the greater sin lies in the opposite direction, which is never giving us the chance to care at all
Beans/legumes/pulses are underrated superstars of cheap and healthy food--as long as you flavour them right, they are delicious!
