ohhh thanks so much for helping out with this!

huge inspiration!! his art was definitely on my reference board for these.

confession: I once took pictures of my own feet as reference and I felt like I was doing something illegal.

that sounds like a utopia. blob supremacy

haha it's like people are either disgusted or fascinated by feet, no in between 😂

or you could just see feet as weird hands.

thank you ✨

so strange! it blocks certain search terms too. I use pinterest to find inspiration images for my monthly challenges on patreon - I just wanna see how other artists have drawn a similar subject. and sometimes it blocks suggestions for a board based on the board's title!

so far, I have gotten a tarantino mention on every platform I posted these on 🥲

yesss! I definitely referenced a few of adorkastock's feet for these studies. So good!!

They're hard to draw, and even harder to search on pinterest. I swear, my intentions were pure!

i'm so glad you enjoy those!!

thanks! it's something that's really bothering me. people are really locked into platforms and apps these days. i worry about younger generations not knowing how to investigate something. it makes them so vulnerable to scams but also unchecked apathy and paranoia.

Dang yall, thanks so much for the support 😭 Usually I ignore the random AI accusations but I wanted to take the chance to talk about how important it is to do your research in times like these. Didn't expect to get soooo many kind comments though! We gotta stick together, my beloved art community ♥️

that's what i'm discovering! it's a lot of fun to just gently and gradually layer.

i agree with this! sometimes i have regrets but usually i find creative ways to 'make it work' basically.

haha yep! i think it all the time too. I just think: ohh i should go back a few steps. and then i realize that i simply cannot.

I’m experimenting more with layering my colored pencils. It’s so satisfying! But also easy to overdo it, which is an eternal struggle I face as a digital artist without an undo button.

i'm happy for you ✨

thank you ♥️
