I've been playing games in handheld so much more again ever since the Switch 2 came out. I've even gone back and spent time playing on my other handheld systems. It's nice not always playing on the big screen anymore

Beyond that, couldn't really tell you what the game was like. The sailing system was pretty much just Brothership, though. But it was presented more like a World Map, so you'd select the island and the ship would move their more quickly. I dunno, it was weird.

I think... Super Mario RPG 2 finally existed in my dream last night. And weirdly enough, it had a similar premise to Brothership with sailing to different islands along currents. I even remember checking in on some German YouTuber playing it and seeing someone else I know in the chat.

TTYD Switch 2 DLC I beg

Paper Mario fans looooove strategizing ways to destroy certain fights or coming up with challenges or whatever else, this game's obviously got a ton of replayability. And with TOK also having a boss refight arena, it makes me even more confused why this wasn't something they added to TTYD on Switch.

One potential feature that I feel they sorely missed out on with TTYD's remake is some form of boss arena

Imagine finally getting a proper Mario x Zelda game, and they choose something like Paper Mario as a way to do it Would be weird... and interesting

Thinking about the art style of Link's Awakening (SW) and Echoes of Wisdom and thinking about the art style of Paper Mario and thinking about how much The Origami King references The Legend of Zelda and sometimes sorta plays like it and just wondering what if they go through with that at some point
