Very enjoyable read and a talented author I will add more from to my queue!

I also enjoyed the educational insights into Armenian culture, which helped bring the story to life and gave it depth and characterization. I also liked the Chicago setting since I was just there and it was fun recognizing a lot of the background!

The first person pov is an unusual choice from my experience for the genre but it totally works and I thought the main character's arc was both believable and empathetic.

4.75/5. A lot of the sapphic romances I've read have been dramatic romances. I think this is the first legitimate romantic comedy I've read in the genre and it was absolutely hilarious! I was laughing out loud and boisterously throughout the book.

I learned a lot from this book and I was on the edge of my seat for the last two-thirds! I'm glad I picked up books 4-6 because I've got to know what happens next sooner rather than later!

4/5. The way Kaya's adventures escalate are intense! Fantastic characterization and drama in this American Girl book. And I appreciated the peek into one of the native cultures.

You are absolutely correct.

I'm glad I got the whole Unicorn box set at Origins. I'm already looking forward to when the next one comes up in my reading queue!

3/5. Fun nostalgic read! I love these old Choose Your Own Adventure books where it seems like anything could happen. It's really a magical feeling and the Unicorn series brings that feeling home so successfully.

Thank you, Robin!

Thanks, Blue!

Thank you!

Out of vaginoplasty surgery and situated in my room for the night! I’ve got weeks of physical recovery ahead, but in this moment, the euphoria level is off the charts!

Jim Pillen encouraged people to assault trans students who use the restroom that aligns with their gender identity last year and I’ve been rooting for his defeat ever since. We might get it. Polls have challenger Lynn Waltz in a statistical tie. Don’t sleep on this race!

Yeah I did. It was helpful too!

Yes, all the modules except vineyards. I got a bunch of points from yellow buildings and had the shield that doubled them. I got lucky and never had to take workers with an action too. Only had three uncovered spaces at the end and got in 5/6 colored area scoring tiles.

The Gorax from Caravan of Courage freaked me the fuck out when I was five.
