To translate a date between Elementia's calendar and Earth's, determine the week by counting the days to the closest solstice or equinox. Then pick the day of that week you prefer. e.g. Cat's birthday of 5 neuviembre is comparable to August 17 on Earth. Or Melody's of 6 premiembre to December 26.

Elementia, the world of #CatsThePajamas, has 360 day years, broken into 12 months of 4, 6-day, weeks. Because this results in any given day of the month or year being the same day every time, Elementians attach significance to what day of the week something (like a birthday) occurs on. 1/7

On the topic of taxes and exemptions; across Terre Reine, Celestial Temples and their residents tend to be tax exempt.

In fact, the government pays them for their services (healing, education, etc.). While the Temple takes donations for services, they are not allowed to charge for them.

Comic tip for artists who struggle with layouts or making each page not so same-y: be less literal about where your characters are sometimes. Become more artsy with emotions they feel or information they share, you don't need them standing in the same room/position like a scene from a movie

Waiting Under the Trees The dying day was damp and overcast. It had rained through the morning and into mid-day. Now it was just misty, and there was a chill in the air. The hidden sun gave no warmth and very little light. Spearhead stood at the edge of the Forest, her back against a tree, looking east. Her Fairy senses strained to reach further than her eyes were able to see. There was still nothing. She was nearly motionless, her damaged wings folded as much as they could be. The only movement was her right hand tapping out a rhythm on her thigh. One finger, three taps, two fingers, three taps, three fingers, three taps, then finally four fingers and three taps. Then there was a pause, before she began again. Prime Thorn Maiden Maggie moved quietly through the trees, their thorn-laden branches bending out of her way. She approached Spear on the right, purposely stepping on a branch to ensure she didn’t startle the Fairy. “I heard you,” Spear said, not shifting her eyes. “You’re as loud as a boar.” “To Fairy ears, maybe,” Maggie conceded. She turned to look to the east. “Still nothing?”

I just remembered there was a Halloween years ago (in college, maybe?) that I wanted to go as one of my characters. Sadly, I lacked the proficiency to get a sufficient costume together. I suppose I could try again someday, but with my aversion to attention it'd have to be one of my subtler ones.
