How to tell when it's Thanksgiving in Canada
I'm so sorry, Holly. My condolences.
D'oh. I read "in a pulp RPG setting" as "in a game I was running" not "in a game I wrote for." I wanted to draw a parallel without realizing I was talking about the actual thing. My bad. :D
I think we had Max and Michael assisting Houdini in some debunking in one if the success at the beginning of the Trinity Continuum core.

I love how he's your biggest cheerleader.
I am also not allowed to sing "Haunt Adeline" to the tune of "Sweet Caroline."
friday is for kafkaposting
Scary, wooooo!
I have similar feelings about a lot of media, like The Truth About Cats and Dogs, where Janeane Garofalo thinks she's too ugly to go on a date so she sends her model friend Uma Thurman in her place. Like, have you seen Janeane? At least other Cyrano adaptions kept the long nose
So you're saying I should put down my pitch for the Capybara Caliphates
The Dynamite music video really did a lot of heavy lifting for Darling's rep.
That's totally fair! Another fun mention during one of Langston's rambles is his, uh, freestyle theremin poetry, which he calls "a cross between Sylvia Plath (presumably who his cat was named after) and My Bleeding Clock." My Bleeding Clock was Jack Joyce's old emo band in Quantum Break.
Then Langston realizes he doesn't remember where he got Alfred. And assuming Sylvia didn't like Alfred because she could tell he was Not A Cat... did Alfred get rid of Sylvia???
Also hinted at in the original Control! If you're playing the AWE DLC, and stop by the central Investigations elevator, Langston will ramble on and on for ages. One of the things he mentions is that he got Alfred shortly before he lost his other cat, Sylvia, who did NOT like him.
Pre-cringing as I wait for the inevitable Trump interview where he says "it's not a snuff film, it's a *tough* film. To show everyone we're the tough guys."
