Hey everyone! So, I've had my commissions closed for a long time, and life has been bumpy, but I think I may have some time to open 1-2 cover slots, depending on volume and deadline, starting soon. Wouldn't mind some fantasy/ttrpg work. Some samples:
It's a lot to juggle, and especially with how the art industry is today it's this constant ambient stress put on us. Not being able to do personal art isn't a moral failing and you should never treat it like that. It's a sign of the world being a shitty and that you deserve a break to find your feet
Being able to create art outside of work is an endavour that may require some discipline but mainly what's most important is a space free from stress and healthy habits outside art (good food, social breaks and exercise) to get that energy up.
warps our perception of others output. We might see it as an bombardment of productive output. But much of it is reposts, client and commission work. Multiply that with following hundreds of artists and it is gonna seem like their output is never ending. But it's a smokescreen created by one's feed
If there is one thing I have learnt from working with artists in a studio space is that most of them burnout their creative drive at work. Most professionals I have been around unfortunately seldom do art for themselves. You, like them deserve a breath to find that creative spirit again. Socmed...
