I did a quick primer about how to make seamless patterns using Krita. 1. Make all your elements in the app of your choice. A square canvas is preferable. 2. Import into Krita, SHIFT+W for wraparound mode, move your layers around as needed. Et voila~

digital portrait of a person facing the viewer, with their arms spread out. above and just a bit behind them, a white and tawny owl with black eyes is flying with its wings spread out in a similar gesture. over the person's head, pointing straight down, is a dagger made of dark steel, with a wavy edge to its blade. it is suspended from four red ropes that are pulled taught and keep it in the middle of the web; two of the strands are visibly fraying. the person is a thin young adult, has light brown skin, dark brown eyes and dark brown slightly wavy hair. it is cut short on top and has a longer portion at the bottom that is braided and is resting over their left shoulder. their hair fades to a pale gray at the tips. they are dressed in a white qipao with red skirts peeking from between two slits in the front, a long-sleeved bolero made of white lace that mimics feathers, and a roomy white wrap-around coat. a cape made of grayish brown feathers is thrown over their shoulders. their outfit is decorated with red detailing, such as a wide belt made of intricately tied ropes, frog closures and tassels. attached at their belt is an hourglass and two gloves, one white and the other made of heavy brown leather. the background behind them is beige, with brighter pale blue bringing out the silhouettes.

Hey all! Quick update: I'm currently enrolled in an 8 week mentorship, so I have commissions closed for now. I only have a small handful of pieces left in the queue and will be finishing those as soon as I can. I foresee I may open again mid November? Maybe sooner but we shall see!

It's actually insane that people who work for these big companies cant own the work they make while they're not on the clock. An imagination-based company town

“I collected bones from charnel houses; and disturbed, with profane fingers, the tremendous secrets of the human frame. In a solitary chamber, or rather cell, at the top of the house, and separated from all the other apartments by a gallery and staircase, I kept my workshop of filthy creation." 🧪🫀⚗️
