I know you're not soliciting advice and if it's unwelcome I'll delete. An easy bike ride helps leg day recovery more than you'd ever believe. Keep up a good cadence with minimal torque on the pedals and just tool around for 30-45min. Gets the blood flowing with no meaningful loading.

This is a huge benefit. I ride a bike to work but I can always (usually, we don't find it as we ought) take the light rail home *with my bike* if I can't handle the 24mi return ride after a 12hr shift. That's a ton of flexibility and a second car my wife and I don't need.
