I think Vis is powerful but maybe challenging enough that he is functionally terrible until further support/developments ala iyslander, dromai, etc. i watch yuki do warcrimes to people but the hero has like a 30% winrate even post-0280 article so shrug. was hoping IAR would be stronger though.......

I am also really fond of the way none of it is genie wish bullshit and instead it is a ragtag group of people who are incredibly desperate for some sort of emotional catharsis and/or tangible change to the world; no 'i want one billion dollars' wishes it's all 'kill this man and his bloodline'

a thing i like a lot about deadlock is how everything about the gameplay is textual (vs overwatch why is tracer pushing the nuke into a london slum) and how it makes characters like drifter so much funnier (i’m just here to kill people because i am evil)
