Everyone, I have a suggestion: New Skill November.
I am torn. The war needs to end, but it must be a just and lasting end to the war. Whilst obviously there must be weapons that are beyond the pale, Russia can end the war any day by withdrawing and demobilising. Ukraine has no such options.
Both sides could very easily agree to stop intentionally targeting residential targets, but Russia won’t because terror is part of their strategy, and Ukraine won’t because they know that all it takes is one badly intercepted missile and Russia will accuse them of violating the ceasefire.
On the one hand, I fully agree. But that would be a de facto ban on cruise missiles and other long range weapons as some number of the strikes on residential buildings have been intercepted long range glide bombs and other self-propelled weapons.
due to RealLife(TM) - mostly adult care requirements - I'm missing Partizan at Newark Showground again, so to help alleviate the shortfall I've just whacked a 10% off promo - PARTIZAN26 - in the shop, and if you're spending £50 and over you can choose COLLECT AT PARTIZAN to get free postage too
Do you have any isopropyl or white spirit/turps to hand? Topical application around the rim of the lid should help soften it.

It was last year’s Orktober project
We've definitely played more sessions of Runequest, but Star Trek provides a perfect template to sit down and play 10 or 11 weeks of a game, to do the modern 10 episode series.
In rough order, we started playing Star Trek, then Runequest, then Star Trek, then Orbital Blues, then Cyberpunk Red, then Expanse (in Traveller), then Best Left Buried, then back to Runequest, then a custom system, then Runequest again, and now more Star Trek.
My RPG group will have been running for six years next month, which feels wild to me. I have been blessed to have had such a great group of players (and at times GMs, as @shinygames.uk has taken the reins at point points) for so long.
My work on my #Orktober project is coming to a middle. I have done most of the red and hazard striped panels now. Soon I will need to break out the enamels for rust effects.

I have a sudden urge to cad up this titan, and then get two or three of them printed. It's such a lovely, scrungly design.
It's Avalon/Resistance but on TV, and now with celebrities rather than randos.

#Orktober continues even when I should be sleeping

Should I have gone to bed an hour ago? Yes. Did I instead start painting in some of the details? Also, yes. It was absolutely worth it though to help push past my fear that I had painted too many bits red. Next step: hazard stripes.
I have the first non-airbrushed layers down, they are going to be more painted than the stompa but I am enjoying where the models are taking me.
The ‘orkanauts have received their first coats of paint. Always a great step in a conversion, when you get to start to see the shape the model will take.

Soft cider is also usually specifically closer to what we'd call cloudy apple juice, further reinforcing this.
