I spent much of today brainstorming a name. I keep getting stuck on that detail, and I need something that feels okay.
The name I have for now, which might change, is The Problem with Death.

@appsolutelynot.bsky.socialMy economic politics are pretty simple. If you need a thing to live a healthy life, it shouldn't be subject to raw market forces. A person shouldn't with about affording food, shelter, or healthcare. People shouldn't worry that losing their job will result in their untimely death.
@appsolutelynot.bsky.socialIt's frankly disgusting to see rent decreases discussed as a loss of earlier gains. Housing shouldn't be an investment. It being more affordable should be seen as a good thing. This incentive structure is fucking evil.
@appsolutelynot.bsky.socialMy wife has a maths quiz on Thursday. So tomorrow, we're gonna take the car to get new tyres, then have a date where we eat sushi and do maths problems. Younger me would be so fucking pumped at how our life turned out.
