After that, silent hill can be like an anthology, with each game being completely different experiences. It’s a good explanation that works and should make sense for most fans. We’ve already seen silent hill following people outside of the town, just make it weirder! It’s literally that simple.

Also, I want to add, making it so that the fog can spread around the world makes it so much easier to make games outside of america. Instead of making it super vague like townfall or making up the dumbest explanation like in short message, all you need to say is that the fog is spreading. That’s it.

No idea if this would be a mainline game or just another spinoff, but we already have more spinoffs than mainline games. Come on konami, pick up your shit and do something. Hell, maybe even bring kojima back, just don’t be fucking stupid this time.

I’d also like to add SOME kind of inventory management. Just a little bit to keep the player on their toes. I’d also like to bring back the door peeking mechanic from shattered memories and downpour, I thought that was fun.

Not sure how the weapons would work, since Canada doesn’t have the second amendment 💀 But I’m sure something would work out. I don’t want it to be melee only like with silent hill f, but I do want it to be a bit more melee focused. I’d probably make the melee weapons invincible and limit ammo a ton

It would be cool to utilize the canadian weather too instead of just having fog all the time. Maybe some snow like in sh1 and shattered memories, who knows

The good ending would have this canadian town be “clensed” of the fog, but have hints of a next game in a different country. I think it would be cool to add a stalker enemy too, like a mix between mr x and pyramid head.

I was thinking the main character could be a war vet or something like that. It would give them some decent trauma to work with and would be a good way to pretend like sh homecoming never happened. The game would start with them stumbling out of a shipwreck on the beach and into the town.

The story would be about how the cult in silent hill was actually somewhat controlling the town, and now that they’re gone, the fog has started to spread, essentially creating the “silent hill phenomenon” that I fucking hate with a passion. There might even be characters who were ex Order members.

This game would have a lot of motifs of rot, mold, disease, etc, anything that can spread. This would be less of a character driven story like silent hill 2 and be more like silent hill 1, where you’re just caught in the middle of it all.

Okay here’s my pitch for a new silent hill game Since konami desperately wants the franchise to expand out of American locations and to new audiences, this one won’t take place in silent hill. HOWEVER, it won’t be very far away, taking place instead in southern canada.
