I have realised that this little pattern I chose to start learning cross stitch with isn't actually for beginners and I need to do ~1800 stitches in total :'D

Just gotta chip away at it for hours and hours and hours until it starts looking like a picture? I guess??

#crafts

A photo of a mini cross stitch pattern next to a very unfinished cross stitch work of the same pattern. The pattern is a beach sunset with palm trees, and fully fills the square it's in.

i realize there are many october creation events to choose from but personally i will be participating in 'whatevertober' which involves me creating whatever i want at the speed that i find most comfortable with no pressure at all. the only prompt is 'do whatever i guess'

Oystercatchers are my favorite seabird ( or I guess shore bird ). Drawn after wildswimming one night. There was a whole group of them relaxing on the beach, and one among them only had one leg! Highlighter, ballpoint pen

Two oystercatchers, one is walking while the other is standing, the standing one has only one leg

I've completed all of the current orders so have lots of space left to take more on! These are turn-around within a few days at the longest ✏️ They're a great cheap option!
